2024 International Conference on Intelligent Ships and Electromechanical System (ICISES 2024) 

successfully held in Guangzhou

On Der 28, 2024, the 2024 International Conference on Intelligent Ships and Electromechanical System (ICISES 2024) took place in Guangzhou Maritime University Huangpu Campus. This event was hosted by GUANGDONG INTERNAL COMBUSTION ENGINE INSTITUTION SOCIETY, Guangzhou Maritime University, Guangdong Ocean University, Chongqing Jiaotong University and Jimei University.ICISES 2024 convened over 150 scholars from across the globe.

Opening Ceremony

The opening ceremony was presided over by Professor Jinlin Lu fromGuangzhou Maritime University.

Qiangrong Tang, Vice President of Guangzhou Maritime University and Professor Yansheng Yin delivered opening speeches at the opening ceremony respectively, on behalf of the university, they expressed the warmest welcome to all the guests and experts and scholars who had come from afar, and expressed their sincere thanks for their long-term support and assistance to the development of the university's education and said that the organisation of this conference would promote the cooperation and exchanges of the academic community.

Keynote Speeches

Professor Defeng Wu of Jimei University, Associate Professor Fengming Du of Dalian Maritime University, Professor Liangxiong Dong of Guangzhou Maritime University and Senior Engineer Lei Zhang  of CSSC HUANGPU WENCHONG SHIPBUILDING COMPANY LIMITED were invited to give the keynote speeches.

The experts shared their latest research progress, covering the cutting-edge areas of intelligent ships and electromechanical systems, and provided participants with valuable academic insights with their profound insights and rich research experiences, stimulating enthusiastic and passionate exchanges among scholars on site.

Oral Presentations

In the oral presentation session, 17 scholars enthusiastically presented their research and shared their innovative ideas. Finally, Shaowei Wang from Jimei University won the Best Oral Presentation Award.

The 2024 International Conference on Intelligent Ships and Electromechanical Systems (ICISES 2024) was successfully concluded.
